Steamfitters Training Facility Buildings

LOCAL TRAINING FACILITY

• New uses in old spaces. The Steamfitters decided that they liked their location and space, but that it needed an upgrade to be able to continue to meet their training needs.
• Our first step was to evaluate the age and condition of the existing MEP systems and present options for upgrading the infrastructure in their three buildings.
• After working with the Steamfitters to decide which option would best fit their needs, we were contracted to engineer new systems for this major renovation project on the three buildings.
• All new systems. We designed new HVAC systems with DOAS/VRF system, new DDC-type BMS for HVAC controls, welding shop exhaust systems, and incoming electrical service replacement.
