We advise. We design. We construct. We were hired by Emergent BioSolutions as the Design/Build Contractor for several projects including the renovation of a temperature-controlled storage/loading dock space, maintenance shop, machine shop, administrative space and autoclave/corresponding area.
The cold storage portion of this project housed three stability chambers, two media incubators, a three to four rack high refrigerator that is able to fit a forklift, freezer, waste dock and a shipping dock.
During construction, particle containment was practiced ensuring a clean environment in Emergent’s manufacturing and warehouse areas. This included building containment walls, HEPA filtration, and sticky mats.
The autoclave project was split into two construction phases. Phase 1 consisted of a new egress corridor and equipment wash area and phase two consisted of the removal of existing egress corridor and the addition of the new autoclave.

This project was Design Lead–Design/Build, meaning that in addition to MEP design, we also acted as the Design/Build Contractor. We lead and managed every aspect of the project from inception to final turn over documents.
