OFFICE REPOSITIONING

  • What’s old is new again. This former car parts factory, located adjacent to a 192-acre rail yard, was repositioned to an office building.
  • Our work started with a study of the existing MEP systems to develop a plan on how to upgrade and/or replace existing MEP systems including new electrical infrastructure, HVAC, fire alarm command station, incoming water services, and plumbing risers.
  • We designed new building MEP systems, which were installed in phases so that the existing tenants could continue occupying the building.
  • Local Law compliance. Our design was completed in compliance with the requirements of NYC Building Department Local Law 97, which limits carbon emissions.
