BATTERY MANUFACTURING R&D FACILITY

Our team provided renovations to our client’s 72,000 sq. ft. pilot plant, including automated battery manufacturing and testing, a 36,000 sq. ft. support space, 24,000 sq. ft. office space, and general support spaces, including loading docks and chemical storage.
We analyzed hazards associated with the use of flammable solids, liquids as well as water-reactive chemicals. We developed a comprehensive life safety strategy for the process and facility.
Based on the client’s processes and space requirements, our design included a mix of new and existing HVAC (including gas detection systems and specialty exhaust systems), new electrical distribution, new specialty lab gas distribution systems, and detailed coordination with the client’s equipment and other design consultants.
