Meet the WB team
Vincent Warner, PE
Why founding WB was a great idea
So the saying goes: no risk, no reward. Even though leaving a steady job for a new venture was a risk, my gut told me it was the right thing to do. We had the right people from the very beginning and this has been key to our success. I’m glad I trusted that gut instinct.
My education: technical and business
I’m a Manhattan College graduate (Electrical Engineering) and have an MBA from Fordham University. It’s a great balance of a technical and business background. Since on many of our projects we work with clients as both technical and business advisors, I’ve put my education to great use.
A memorable event
Before the water even receded from Lower Manhattan in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, I got a call from Verizon. Their building at 104 Broad Street, a 250,000 square foot critical network facility serving New York's financial district, had suffered a “catastrophic failure.” They wanted our team on site immediately to help figure out how to recover and rebuild as quickly as possible. Even though many of the guys on our team were without power themselves for the first few days, they were completely committed to this project from the very beginning. It’s a great team effort to get this building back online.
A proud moment
In addition to marrying my wife Natalie and the birth of our three children, Vincent, Colin and Katherine, I will always remember calling my Dad when I passed the PE exam. He and my mother have always been extremely supportive of my career and that was a proud day for them and me.
I’m a sports fan
I love to coach and I love to be a fan. I’m loyal to the Jets and Mets
Our founders. Our leaders. The visionaries. The people who take the final ownership for our work. David, Vinny, Peter, Peter, Mike, Tom and Craig have a great balance of experience and ideas. They are Improving The Way Things Are Done everyday, and making sure that we do, too.
