As the engineer of record, our team reviewed the engineering drawings submitted by another engineer. The project was a tenant improvement project on four floors of call center space in the Wilmington Trust Building. The four floors were home to about 1,000 bank employees. We suggested alternative design solutions for several of the originally proposed engineering designs, with the intent of control project costs. The project was part of Capital One’s Green Globes initiatives, and all of our recommendations had to comply with Capital One’s corporate environmental sustainability objectives.
