HEADQUARTERS RELOCATION

• ‘A Vibrant Ecosystem.’ Rapid7 needed to relocate its headquarters to increase capacity. Our team designed the engineering systems for four floors in the Hub on Causeway, a brand-new building at the time.
• Two significant elements of our design included the interconnecting staircase between two of the floors and reconfiguring a portion of the space to have a multipurpose room/cafeteria.
• Challenging coordination. One challenge we faced on this project was coordinating MEP systems within extensive open ceilings. We developed a solution that met the architect’s design aesthetics.
• The project included a dramatic opening between all floors, which required creative fire alarm and fire protection treatments.
