SHOWCASE RENOVATION

  • The Verizon LTE Experience Center features a 20,000 square-foot showcase that is used to demonstrate new technologies at every stage of development, from concept to commercial products. The finished product was a flexible, high end space that works for Verizon, and their potential business partners, customers, and investors.
  • Highlights of the showcase include high end reception and public spaces, three demonstration rooms, meeting rooms, a twenty-two seat conference room with Cisco Telepresence Videoconferencing system, a cafeteria and a 32-person theater space with a 22 foot wide curved video wall, and an 12-rack server room, to drive all of the systems in the Experience Center.
  • The LTE Experience Center is backed up by a 160 kva UPS, and also backed up by an existing on-site Verizon generator. The server room received precision 24/7 cooling to ensure that the network.
  • The lighting system in the Experience Center is flexible, integrated, and energy efficient. Daylight harvesting was implemented at all exterior lighting zones. Lighting in all of the presentation spaces was integrated into the AV control system. Energy efficient LED light fixtures were specified in many of the spaces to meet the LEED Gold requirements.
  • The upper two office space floors of the building consisted of open office space, enclosed private offices, conference and training rooms, pantries, and IDF rooms on each floor.
