We worked with Nixon Peabody, a Global 100 law firm with offices across the U.S., Europe and Asia, when the firm relocated their NYC office space.
We provided engineering support to the team during the selection of the firm’s new office location and assisted in lease negotiations. Once the location was finalized, we provided engineering services including MEP/FP, Technology and Physical Security design to fit out the space for the offices, café, server rooms and conference center, which required a Place of Assembly permit.
The design incorporated stand-alone HVAC systems for all critical space as well as energy efficient systems and controls designed to exceed current energy code requirements. The project was designed and constructed to achieve LEED Gold certification.
Nixon Peabody's office space was also featured in Crain's 5 coolest offices in New York.
