ENERGY ANALYSIS

  • We were engaged by them to develop a master Owner’s Project Requirement (OPR) document to outline their requirements for HVAC replacement projects that are applicable to the various building types.
  • This included utilizing variable refrigerant flow/volume (VRF/VRV) heat recovery units where viable to decrease use of fossil fuels and reduce energy usage and carbon emissions from the facilities. We developed standards for equipment type and manufacturer to be used in particular occupancies that had to be followed by any design professional involved with design in those facilities.
  • We also develop standards for building automation systems (BAS) with sequence of operations that would allow the systems to be operated efficiently.
