ENERGY EFFICIENCY

• Continuous learning. Graduate School USA is the longtime training partner of the US Government. The goal of this project was to right-size their educational facility in Washington, DC.
• The success of this project was reliant on coordinating with the contractor and landlord to determine how to distribute power within the space. Our solution was to re-feed the replacement chiller differently created a spare feeder, allowing us to re-feed the UPS without major costs.
• Saving energy. We also improved energy efficiency and decreased energy costs by replacing the chiller. The complexity its chiller economizer cycle made it almost unusable. We transitioned to a unit with an integral economizer coil reduced both up front construction costs and long-term operating costs.
