Boston University

FIT-OUT

  • Centralizing systems for efficiency. Boston University’s commitment to energy efficiency was a great opportunity to bring in our team to provide a new energy efficient VRF system.
  • In addition to the new system, we designed an energy recovery unit on the roof to bring in outdoor air. This VRF system was designed to connect with BU’s campus-wide controls system so that all of the units can be monitored from a central location.
  • The building’s infrastructure was outdated, so we did necessary electrical infrastructure upgrades, consolidating all of the panels into a single electrical closet and discovered there were numerous code violations that needed to be corrected.
