ABOUT THE PROJECT
Tower 46, a commercial high-rise managed by Cushman & Wakefield, required a full replacement of its Building Management System (BMS) to improve operational efficiency. Our expertise was needed to provide a full-scope BMS replacement and commissioning, ensuring the system was tailored to the building’s complex infrastructure.
OUR SOLUTION
As part of the project, our team:
- Surveyed and documented existing mechanical and control systems.
- Developed new sequences of operations to automate major building systems.
- Designed a non-proprietary BMS to replace the outdated platform.
- Prepared a detailed RFP and supported bid leveling to select the right contractor.
- Oversaw installation and commissioning to ensure proper system functionality.
- Integrated alarms and monitoring tools to improve response time and visibility.
- Verified performance through comprehensive run-throughs with building staff.
THE IMPACT
The new BMS streamlined operations across 36 floors, reduced energy waste, and provided facility staff with reliable, responsive building controls.
