SECURED FACILITY

• Highly confidential. Renovation of an existing office and manufacturing space into a new SCIF (SCIF is the acronym for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility, which is a secure place where sensitive information can be viewed and discussed to prevent outside surveillance).
• The secured areas were designed according to the ICD705 and Tempest construction standards of the National Counterintelligence and Security Center.
• A new 225-ton supplemental cooling system was comprised of five roof mounted dry coolers. Multiple computer room air conditioning units were designed to provide 24/7 cooling to data center rooms throughout the space. We also designed a 900 kW generator and UPS system.
• Deadline driven. Meeting with the schedule was important to the client; we were able to do so by providing hands-on support in the field for the general contractor.
