ABOUT THE PROJECT

A confidential defense and technology client partnered with our team to support the planning and design of secure facilities across multiple locations. These environments are used to support highly sensitive government-sponsored programs, where security is mission-critical. The client sought a trusted engineering partner with deep experience in secure space design, evolving government security requirements, and the ability to anticipate future compliance needs.

OUR SOLUTION

We provide ongoing security consulting and low-voltage engineering services across the client’s portfolio, including:

  • Advising on secure space planning strategies to support both single-program and multi-program secure environments within a shared footprint.
  • Designing electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance, intrusion detection, and noise masking, aligned with sponsor-specific security requirements.
  • Supporting layered security approaches that allow varying clearance levels within a single secure perimeter.
  • Coordinating low-voltage infrastructure to support electrified door hardware, monitoring devices, and secure communications systems.
  • Designing redundant power and system pathways to ensure secure spaces remain operational during outages or building-wide disruptions.
  • Applying lessons learned from past secure facility projects to proactively identify risks and design around known challenges.
