A knack for problem solving
Growing up, Peter was the kid who liked to take things apart – and put things back together. His love of troubleshooting – and problem-solving – led him to start his career as an operating engineer at the original World Trade Center. When working nights lost its appeal, he made a career change to become a design engineer.
What’s old is new again
Employee number five at WB, Peter is known for finding solutions for really complex problems. For example, following Superstorm Sandy, he designed a diving bell solution to protect Verizon’s critical equipment at their downtown NYC communications hub. Although it is a centuries old concept, this was the first time it was applied in a Manhattan building.
Improving the Way Things are Done
Our engineers regard Peter as their go-to resource if they need to understand how something works (and they are guaranteed a thorough answer!).
