When Bart started his career he worked for a small firm that was acquired by Hewlett-Packard shortly after. When he realized that working for the large firm wasn’t the best match for his skillset and professional development, it didn’t take long joining WB, to know that it was (and still is!) the right fit. He works on a variety of project types with a wide range of clients and have exposure to different systems (both old and new).
FAVORITE KIND OF WORK…
Data centers and forensic projects. The similarity between these two project types is that in order to figure out the issue, you have to dissect the system and fundamentally understand how it works. That “aha” moment –when you figure out what exactly is going on – is really satisfying.
BIGGEST PIECE OF ADVICE…
Always have a pen and paper handy when you ask a question! In this line of work, most answers will be complex and you never know what little piece of information will wind up being a critical component. The best way to learn and become a better engineer is to take notes.
