2022 ASHRAE Winter Conference
ENJOYING ASHRAE
This week, I was able to attend the first-ever hybrid ASHRAE Winter Conference in Las Vegas! This was ASHRAE’s first large in-person event since the pandemic began so the health and safety of attendees was the top priority. Did you know that ASHRAE (the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) was formed in 1959 and has over 200 chapters worldwide?
I am also an active member, currently serving as a Vice-Chair on the Training and Education Committee (TEC). My time has been spent in meetings related to ASHRAE’s continuing education program. I also enjoyed training classes (learning is always encouraged on our team!) and attending the TC9.10 Laboratory Systems main committee meeting. It was a busy but productive couple of days in Las Vegas!
