Our team worked with Host International to assess various options for the central plant upgrades and HVAC system replacements at the Washington Dulles Airport Marriott.

The original cooling tower, chiller and boiler installed in the hotel were still being used, but were nearing the end of their useful life. Following a detailed due diligence study, our team determined the most efficient option for replacing the equipment, while ensuring only minor disruption to the operation of the hotel.

We compiled concept plans and energy models for every option considered in order to help the hotel make the best decision for their facility. For the option selected, our team executed on the final construction documents for use in bidding, permitting and construction.
