We are worked on the fit-out of the food service retail spaces for Wasabi in the Westfield Center at the World Trade Center. This project is located just blocks from our New York City office, and we love being part of the redevelopment of our Lower Manhattan neighborhood. Wasabi’s space includes a customer area, a food services area, and the back of the house area.
One of the challenges of this project is to ensure that the design meets the needs of the four decision makers involved in the project, who include Wasabi, Westfield, the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and the MTA. Our design drawings also have to be approved by the base building engineer. Having a clear understanding of what each decision maker was looking for with this project has enabled us to successfully balance each of their requirements.
