UPS hired our team to help transform a cold dark shell warehouse into a facility that could comfortably accommodate employees. The first phase of the project consisted of a study of the buildings existing conditions and a specification report outlining the criteria and basis of design for project.
We then designed MEP/FP systems for 20,000 sq. ft. of new office space, an expanded parking area, new car wash facility, a fueling station and the relocation/modification of several rest rooms and drive ramps.
In the middle of the design phase, the client decided that they preferred natural gas heating over the planned electric heating. We were able to modify our design without impacting the construction schedule for the project.
