We assisted in the design of the campus that supports a new natural gas-fueled, 778 megawatt combined-cycle generating station. Through coordination with the contracting team, we provided design/build for the MEP/FP systems for all eight outbuildings that comprise the campus.
Our design incorporated LEED standards, which realizes a 20% energy consumption reduction at the facility. For Stonewall Energy, this means a savings of $11,000 a year in energy costs. As part of the project, we provided MEP/FP design services and commissioning for the new construction of the 16,000 sq. ft. LEED certified administrative building.
This plant will create enough electricity for nearly 800,000 homes and facilitate Loudoun County’s growing role as a leader in business and technology.
