Lab Registration & Permitting
LAB REGISTRATION & PERMITTING DOESN’T NEED TO BE COMPLICATED: WE CAN HELP
I am excited to have been a guest author featured on Safety Partner’s website, where I described the changes to Boston’s lab registration and annual permit application process. I was invited to author this post because WB is the only MEP engineering firm that the Boston Fire Department recommends as a third-party to provide technical assistance in this process.
In the brief time this process has been in place, I have helped dozens of clients in and around Boston with their laboratory registration and permitting process. As I explained in the post, tight timelines are associated with these types of projects. And far too often, third-party vendors are brought on to the projects later than they should be, causing delays in the project and additional costs. It can be complicated, but it doesn’t need to be. That’s why we’re here. My goal is to simplify technical information, helping our clients understand how the process works and how to avoid associated penalties.
Beyond this blog in Safety Partners, I have also authored three others on our website:
- Hazardous Materials: Laboratory Code Compliance
- Laboratory Compliance, Roles & Responsibilities
- Expectations from a laboratory building owner
I have also spoken on the subject in-depth in this webinar:
