MEP Recommendations for Healthier Buildings

WBIAQMON, 1LU|HSW

With the release of the vaccine, many people will start to think hard about returning to work and ask if its safe.  Building owners have put measures in place to protect people, but are they working? The best way to make sure C19 mitigation measures are working is to measure and verify it.  By continually measuring the indoor air quality you can use secondary indicators to make sure your C19 mitigation strategies are working.  We will review key aspects of indoor air quality and how to interpret the data.

Learning Objectives:
  • Understand what buildings can and should do now to reduce exposure to COVID-19
  • Review how increasing indoor air quality (IAQ) can reduce our risk of contracting C19 and how increasing IAQ can increase worker productivity.
  • Provide an example of a cost-effective IAQ monitoring system and how it works.
  • Discuss the key components of (IAQ) and acceptable limits.
