NFMT 2019

Newly constructed buildings utilize nearly half the energy of those that were constructed prior to the early 2000’s. And now, about 80% of commercial buildings were built over 15 years ago*. What does that mean for asset execs and facility managers? The potential for significant increases in energy efficiency and reduction of operational costs.

Presenting to a packed house this week at the NFMT 2019 Conference, our Associate Principal. Jesse Fisher, PE, CPD provided insights to identify energy savings through ventilation strategies, proper application of VFDs, recirculation pumps and the utilization of controls. His key takeaways helped highlight a few misconceptions while also providing awareness to the 200+ session attendees on the major benefits of teaming with expert engineers for their building retrofits.
