NAVFAC

Partnering successfully with Washington Refrigeration Company

From the very beginning, we knew that our design would be constrained by the existing mechanical system, which the client wanted to modify rather than replace. But even with these limitations, we put on our creative thinking hats and provided several options for NAVFAC to choose from in deciding which design best met their needs.

This project was completed as a design build. We partnered with Washington Refrigeration Group (an 8(a) company), with our team leading this effort. We were especially mindful of the project schedule. We managed the communication – with our team and with the client – very effectively which enabled us to complete the construction within six weeks. This was very aggressive for the nearly $500,000 worth of work.
