DF King, BAT

Two of our favorites- a data center and a call center- in the same project

Our team really enjoys designing call centers. Our team also really enjoys designing data centers. So a project for which we get to do both – well that is a project which we are sure to enjoy. DF King leased two spaces in Brooklyn Army Terminal for this project, one for the data center and office and the other for the call center.

In the data center/office space, we reused the existing MEP/FP systems, but modified the design to meet DF King’s layout. This saved them money. We also added a new UPS for the data center to ensure reliability.

For the call center, we designed new MEP/FP systems including: a new 120-ton rooftop chiller with AHU, a perimeter hot water radiation system, and a UPS.

Having worked previously with DF King on the fit-out of their headquarters office space certainly helped us meet the tight schedule on this project. Our previous experience meant that we understood their expectations immediately at the beginning of the project.
